A Legacy of Excellence in Trap Shooting
Delta Trap Club was incorporated on June 18, 1968, on land donated by Charles Fairlamb. The club is located just north of the city limits in Delta County, Colorado. In its fifty-plus years of existence, the club has hosted the Colorado State Championship Shoot sixteen times, bringing top trap shooters from all parts of Colorado and neighboring states to Delta County. The club hosts ATA shoots throughout each year and a highly popular annual Labor Day Shoot.
Delta Trap Club has 12 trap fields with automatic throwers; five of the fields are lighted for night events.
For major shoots, the club opens RV spaces with electricity.
The club provides options for food services and/or food trucks during scheduled shoots. League banquets are held to distribute awards and socialize with members and spouses.
Wi-Fi is available in the clubhouse and on the grounds.
Delta Trap Club runs three seasonal leagues, ATA shoots, various club and fun shoots, and open shooting events throughout the year. Recreational and competitive shooting is provided for all skill levels. The public is welcome at all events. Memberships are available, but non-members can participate in many activities.
Open shooting is available Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Members have access to club grounds to shoot / practice at their convenience.
Join the Club
Club membership is open to all shooters. We welcome everyone looking for a safe, friendly place to shoot recreational and competitive traps. Membership runs $85 for an individual or family for each calendar year.

Trap Operations
Traps are operated by Briley coin / smart card trap controllers. Non-members can purchase coin tokens good for one round each for $8.00. Members can purchase tokens for $6.00 per round or purchase a smart card for $4.00 and add rounds for $6.00 each. Any number of rounds can be added to a card.
Each token or swipe of a smart card will provide 27 targets to account for broken targets. Shooters need to take care not to speak out of order or otherwise activate the trap to ensure they will not run out of targets before the end of a round.
